Dr. J Patrick Tismo

Dr Tismo graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, USA with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree before completing a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA specialising in hospital dentistry. He went on to build a distinguished career in private practice in Boston while also shaping the next generation of dentists as Assistant Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Assistant Director of the Hygiene Recall Program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

In addition to his clinical and teaching achievements, Dr Tismo served as Director of Quality Assurance at Tufts where he played a key role in maintaining the dental school’s national accreditation standards. Dr Tismo maintains his license to practice dentistry in the USA.

After achieving certification through the Australian Dental Council, he brought his expertise to Australia and joined Dental Connect in 2009. His commitment to excellence extends beyond the clinic, with published research focused on improving patient satisfaction and the overall dental experience.
